Healing Mantras

The first time I heard about mantras was three years ago at the yoga festival in Ostrava. When one of the teachers started chanting to the accompaniment of harmonium ... I didn't understand a word. I had no idea what each of the mantra means and I didn't even know what words am I singing. At the beginning, I wasn't even able to pronounce them right. But after few moments .. it somehow started feeling completely natural. And I got lost in the beautiful energy, which traveled through my whole body.

Shri ram
jai ram
jai jai ram
jai jai ram
Sita Ram Sita Ram

Sita Ram mantra refers to hindu myth about the goddes Sita and her husband Ram(a). Rama is one of the most important incarnations of Lord Vishnu while Sita is an incarnation of goddess Lakshmi. They represent the connection between a perfect man and a perfect woman. Chanting this mantra helps you develop these virtues inside ourselves. Sita Ram is a mantra of harmony, love, loayalty and courage.

Pavan Pavan Pavan Pavan
Par Para Pavan Guru
Pavan Guru Wahe Guru

Wahe Guru Pavan Guru

Mantra Pavan Guru is the prayer to divine breathe (Pavan), carrier of the prana energy - life force

Om Om Om

Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu

Sarvesham Shantir Bhavatu

Sarvesham Poornam Bhavatu
Sarvesham Mangalam Bhavatu
... Om, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti

Every each mantra has its specific effect and carries truly powerful energy. I personally prefer the mantras which are not devoted to any god, but rather refers to things which are important for all of us, regardless of our faith. This beautiful "world peace mantra" means something like:

"May all be happy, may all live in peace, union and harmony."

Lokah Samastah

Sukhino Bhavantu

"May all be happy and free. May my thoughts, words and actions contribute to the happiness and prosperity of all."

Ardas Bhaee Amar Das Guru
Amar Das Guru Ardas Bhaee
Ram Das Guru Ram Das Guru
Ram Das Guru
Sachee Sahee

Prayer for fulfilling all of our wishes. Guru Ram Das represents healing energy, miracles and blessings. Guru Ram Das represents grace and hope in the moments when everything feels hopeless.

Aad Guray Nameh
Jugaad Guray Nameh
Sat Guray Nameh
Siri Guroo Dayvay Nameh

Aad guray nameh is the mantra of universal protection. It literally means:
"I bow to the primal Guru I bow to the truth that has existed throughout the ages I bow to True Wisdom I bow to the Great Divine Wisdom."

Tohi Mohi
Mohi Tohi
Antar Kaisa

Mantra for positive energy and universal union. The words mean:
"Oh lord. You are Me and I am you. What is the difference between us."
