In 2050 there will be over 20 millions kids under 5 years of age, suffering from hunger.
About 200 millions people will migrate because of the lack of food and drinkable water.
In 2048 there won't be a fish in the ocean.
100 millions are threatened by coastal floating.
These scenarios don't come from American movies. Unfortunatelly. The climate change - global warming, increasing ocean levels, melting glaciers ... these are facts, which a lot of people don't want to think about. If we all get so indifferent to our only space where we can live ... The things will get only worse and worse. But can a one single person change anything?

I personally still have a problem with some of these things and I don't follow all of the rules for 100% all the time. A jednou všechny tyhle body budou součástí mého každodenního života, stejně jako ranní hygiena.
8 Ways To Help The Earth
Refuse the plastic bags and instead of them, always take recycled or cotton bags for shopping. I love for example bags by Ecozz - you can take about 20 kilograms in them and they last for a long time :)
Buy as little processed food as possible - you'll save a lot of packaging material, when you buy tomatoes in a farmers market and make your own pasta sauce, then if you buy ready-made one from a supermarket. The same thing with oats - stop buying tens of packages of instant oatmeal. Instead, make your own from a big package of oats, fresh fruit and other yummy fresh ingredients.
Visit shops and no-package shops - more and more no-package shops are setting up all around the world - the shops where you can buy food (nuts, seeds, flour, dried fruit ...) and pack them in your own lunch boxes. You can shop this way on farmers markets as well.
Limiting animal product intake - plant-based diet without is much more eco-friendly than animal products (eggs, meat, dairy). While some people around the world are suffering from hunger, in the same countries there are cereal plantations, used for feeding cattle for meat we eat in the developed countries. The most problematic thing is beef, because while digesting food, cows are creating methane, a gas which is one of the biggest causes of global warming.
Replace disposable coffee cups with your own tumbler. If you love going to go-to cafés, you should think about buying your own tumbler. You'll save a lot of potential garbage, that is such a big problem for companies like Starbucks, Costa café etc.
Buy only natural cosmetics - natural cosmetics is not only healthier for - it also doesn't contain synthetic ingredients which have negative effect on the environment. When you wash away a shampoo full of silicons and petroleum products, all of these things are getting into the water. Since these things don't come from natural sources, they are not degradable in nature, so they are polluting water and threatening animals who live there.
Avoid disposable straws - straws, as well as the plastic bags, are absolutely unnecessary. We throw them away after one use and this way we're creating more and more trash that often ends up even in oceans, where it treathens marine animals. Forget disposable straws, refuse them in and restaurants and cafés and rather replace them with glass or steel straw. You can buy them really cheap on Ebay :)
Learn to work with leftovers - you can make delicious granola or cookies with leftover oats, dried fruit, nuts and seeds. You can use leftover legumes and vegetables for great homemade burgers and patties ... Just a little bit of creativity :)
