Last week I opened my wardrobe and I started wondering what am I supposed to do with my "fall" clothes when there's basically no fall anymore. The last couple of years, summer turns into winter and bikins alternates ski jackets. However this year I enjoy the constant rain, cool weather and dark days so much - I come back home from school, put on some warm socks, turn on some chill slow music, light up some candles .. and I create my little art. I write, I draw, I study ... and everything feels so much easier in this weather.
However the weather had also negative effect on me as well and I spent last few days ill in my bed. In this part of the year, it's super important to get enough vitamins in your diet. And the best way to do so, is to choose their purest form - the vitamins in fruits, vegetables, seeds or for example sprouted legumes! :)
Ingredients:
- 1/3 broccoli
- 1/2 cup rice
- herbal salt to taste
- 2 tsp nutritional yeast
- about 1 tsp oil
- big handful sprouted lentils
- pumpkin seeds
How to:
- Steam the broccoli while cookign rice spiced with herbal salt and nutritional yeast.
- When the broccoli softens, slightly roast it on a pan with a teaspoon of oil and a pinch of salt.
- Roast the seeds on a pan and when the rice gets done, mix everything together and enjoy your meal ! :)
