Creamy Cauliflower & Leek Soup

I've never been a big fan of soups. For me, soups have always been kind of a "pre-meal", which I never enjoyed as much as the main course. Then I learned to prepare creamy soups with coconut milk and almost any kind of vegetables and I fell in love with them - especially now when the temperature is lower and lower, a bowl of comforting creamy soup makes you perfectly warm and full :) Give a try to the cauliflowe & leek soup according to my recipe.

Broccoli Risotto with Sprouted Lentils

Last week I opened my wardrobe and I started wondering what am I supposed to do with my "fall" clothes when there's basically no fall anymore. The last couple of years, summer turns into winter and bikins alternates ski jackets. However this year I enjoy the constant rain, cool weather and dark days so much - I come back home from school, put on some warm socks, turn on some chill slow music, light up some candles .. and I create my little art. I write, I draw, I study ... and everything feels so much easier in this weather.

However the weather had also negative effect on me as well and I spent last few days ill in my bed. In this part of the year, it's super important to get enough vitamins in your diet. And the best way to do so, is to choose their purest form - the vitamins in fruits, vegetables, seeds or for example sprouted legumes! :)

Rice Carrot Noodles with Maple Syrup

I have so many ideas and so much inspiration for new posts. The only problem is that altough I would probably also have time for that .. I'm not able to put my thoughts into words. I spent the last week on a neo yin yoga teacher training with Deep Kumar and when I came back home from the course ... I didn't really feel like writing anything. I was chared with enery so much and I just wanted to enjoy that beautiful blissful feeling. However I don't want to leave this blog without any activity, so at least I'm gonna show you a recipe for an easy ligh summer lunch :)

Tropical Smoothie Bowl

I know. It's always better to eat local and seasonal foods. But I'm a bit spoiled and so I love tropical fruit as well. I could eat banans and mangoes every single day - on their own or in the form of this amazing smoothie bowl :)

Amaranth Porridge With Caramelized Banana

As you know from the recipes on this blog (and from my instagram as well) I love porridges in any form. But my "classic" oatmeal+banana+berries+peanut butter ... is kind of stereotype. But the reipce I'm gonna show you today is not ordinary at all. Amaranth porrigge with caramelized banana is just an obsession. Caramelized banana for a healthy breakfast? Why not! I swear you'll fall in love with this recipe.

Vanilla & Coconut Oatmeal

How does my perfect morning look like? Waking up with sunrise behind msy window, stretching my body, doing some yoga, jógu, taking a cold wake-up shower and then preparing myself a delicious breakfast ... Okay, I admit it. I don't experience this type of mornings very often. Usually I wake up begrudgingly, after I put on my glasses I realize there's fu*king mess all around me, I get out of my bed, I get a fright by my reflection in a bathroom mirror ... and the only nice thing about the whole morning is the breakfast. So ... at least let's make it as good as possible !

Sweet Potato & Dried Tomatoes Quickie

Sweet potatoes are my thing. Not only because of the taste but also because of the super quick preparation. Sweet potatoes are soft much quicker than normal potatoes, not matter if you cook them or bake them in the oven. I used white sweet potatoes in this recipe, because they do not have such strong taste so even people who don't like the sweet taste of sweet potatoes will love this recipe :)

Amaranth Breakfast Porridge

Amaranth has a lot of positive effect on our health - it regulates blood pressure and cholesterol, contains anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer agents, increases immunity, it contains a lot of protein and fiber and it's also gluten free. Aztecs called Amarants the "mother grain". Amaranth porridge is a perfect way to start your day.

Banana & PB Polenta Porridge

Porridge is the best breakfast choice in fall and winter. You can choose different grains, combine different types of plant-based milk, add fruits, superfoods etc. One of my favorites is lately polenta porridge, which makes the most delicious combination with banana and peanut butter ! :)

Fall Salad with Quinoa and Persimmon

I used to hate fall. I always imagined the beginning of the school year, flu and the dark morning. But you can also see this season from a different point of view. If I look at fall this way, it becomes my most favourite season of the year. The colourful leaves are falling from trees, when the weather is not nice, I'm looking forward to go home, light a candle, have a cup of tea or hot chocolate and wrap myself in a blanket. But what about the food? I love summer fruit, I love the variety and great selection. But what to eat during fall and winter? This recipe will maybe give you an inspiration and convince you that you can create colourful delicious food in fall, that won't ennoy you :)

Raw Buckwheat Bars

Raw bars are perfect for those moments when you really crave something sweet of you just need to banish hunger fast. Basically you can make these bars from anything - the base is usually made from dried fruit (dates, plums, figs, raisins ..) and you can choose the other ingredients completely according to your taste. You can experiment with different types of nuts, grains like oats, millet or buckwheat, you can add cacao, vanilla, cinnamon ... Just be creative! This recipe is my favourite - it's gluten and peanuts free and it has strong taste of walnuts and buckwheat.

Quinoa with Tomato Dates Sauce

My lunches are usually same - rice, pasta or something like that, fresh or cooked vegetables, lentils or soy and one of my two favourite spice mixes. I like these quick lunches but after a while it becomes a bit boring. Few weeks ago I've created completely new recipe and the lunch was so delicious, that I just have to give you the opportunity to try that too :)

Black Bean Brownie Cookies

Sometimes I really wonder what ingredients some recipes consist of. And it's an even bigger suprise when you try the recipe and result is delicious. That's exactly what happened when I'd decided to try my first black bean brownie cookies. I promise that you won't taste the beans at all and I also warn you that they're pretty addictive! :)
