Raw bars are perfect for those moments when you really crave something sweet of you just need to banish hunger fast. Basically you can make these bars from anything - the base is usually made from dried fruit (dates, plums, figs, raisins ..) and you can choose the other ingredients completely according to your taste. You can experiment with different types of nuts, grains like oats, millet or buckwheat, you can add cacao, vanilla, cinnamon ... Just be creative! This recipe is my favourite - it's gluten and peanuts free and it has strong taste of walnuts and buckwheat.

Ingredients (4-5 bars) :
- 1 cup dates
- 1/2 cup buckwheat
- 1/3 cup walnuts
- handful chopped almonds
- 2-3 Tbsp flax seeds
How to:
- Soak the dates - you can use hot water so they become softer quicker.
- In a food processor, blend the almonds, walnuts, Mandle, vlašáky, flax seeds and buckwheat, then add the dates and continue processing.
- Finally shape the bars from the "dough" and (optionally) spinkle them with chopped almonds
