Why Do You Pay For Destroying Your Skin?

Skin protects our body, it separates us from our surroundings. Every day it has to deal with weather and temperature changes, it's exposed to air contaminants ... And we often don't make it easier at all with all the chemicals we put on out face. A year ago I wouldn't believe I could ever give up my store-bought cosmetics and use vinegar and sugar instead. Now I see that was a great decision. What has using natural cosmetics brought me and why you should give it a chance too ?

Maybe you remember the post from March about dangerous cosmetics and the sunstances which these products contain. That was the first and the only impulse I needed to give up the "chemical" cosmetics for good. Why should I fill my body with dangerous substances which worsen skin problems, cause hormone imbalance and increase the risk of cancer ?

What are the benefits of natural cosmetics?
When I was about twelve years old I started - like many other people at my age - sufering from acne. I still have problems with acne now, but I see a huge positive change since I've been using natural cosmetics. My skin is not that irritated and the pores are not that clogged. Conventional cosmetics is full of parabens, paraffin and other substances which damage our skin even more.

As regards the decorative cosmetics - of course it's better not to use any makeup. That's the best and the healthies thing you can do for your skin. Personally I can't do that. I'm trzing to use as little cosmetics as possible but I still don't feel confident to go out without makeup, because my skin is not perfect at all. If you want to wear makeup, at least try to choose the better possible option. I know that many natural cosmetics brands are very expensive. But there are also quite cheap brands you can buy in every drug store. If your skin doesn't look extremely bad, this cosmetics is completely enough.

And what about the cleansing cosmetics? You can choose from many high quality natural cosmetics brands with reasonable prices. Even better is the fact that you don't even have to buy any cosmetics - you can make it at home! Currently I'm using a mixture of sugar, coconut oil and coffee as a peeling, for removing my makeup I use milk thistle oil with few drops of essential oils and instead of toner I use dilluted apple cider vinegar. That's all! (I'm preparing a post about homemade cosmetics, so stay tuned!)

All the substances we use on our skin - no matter if they're healthy or dangerous - affect not only our skin but they also get inside our body. So let's think before you put something onto your face. One day, your body will thank you :)
