Working out, gym, dumbells, cardio ... do these words make you feel scared or sick? Then this post is just for you! I started working out about three years ago but during that time, I became a bit tired and bored of it. Now I'm back on the track. What helps me to get back to working out now? What motivates me and what is going to help you not to give up?

Slowly and gradually
Are you used to just lay in your bed and do nothing? Was the last time you worked out few months or years ago? Then you shouldn't go to hard, destroy yourself by one workout and then be exhausted and sore the day after. The great thing about exercising is seeing how you're improving - suddenly you'll be able to finish the hard workouts which you think you could never be able to do, you'll be able to workout for longer time and your body will change a lot. That feeling increases your confidence and motivates you to keep going. So start slowly and add a bit more energy to your workout every time.
Enjoy the process
One spring day I decided to go for a run. On Tumblr I saw all the quotes about running, which said that "running is the best therapy", that it's gonna clear my mind, help me lose a lot of weight and that I'm going to feel absolutely happy afterwards. So in the morning I woke up, put on my workout clothes and my earphones and I got out of the house. After few minutes I started to doubt about mental health of the people who write these quotes. The only things I could think of were the pain in my hip, my super heavy legs and the image of how I probably look with those red cheeck and sweaty forehead - like a pink piggy.
That's how I found out that running is not really my thing.
There are so many types of exercise. I think everyone can find something he'll enjoy (even those who consider themselves as the laziest people in the world) Maybe you'll fall in love with running, maybe you'll enjoy cycling, lifting weights, pilates, yoga, jumping, ballet or kick box.
Watch videos
Music gives you energy and makes you keep working out longer. In my opinion, videos are even better. Once I was cycling in the gym I was watching Pretty Little Liars and the time passed so quickly. At home, I usually turn on youtube and watch videos with latino music - not only the music is usually very energetic and positive, the people in the videos usually wear short shorts or some beach clothes and they dance ... and those butts and sexy legs are enough motivation ! :D
