How I Lost 10 pounds - Working out, Fun Cardio Workouts, Motivation ... (PART 3)

The third and the last part of the serie How I Lost 10 pounds - today about working out :)

If You Hate Cardio ...I guees I'm not the only one who hates cardio. Personally I love pilates and yoga and most of my workouts are made of toning exercises in style of pilates. I'm not really fan of burpees, high knees, etc. Anyway cardio is the best calories and fat burner.

Let's start with what the cardio is. Cardio is ana activitiy, that speed up your breath and gets your heart rate up. If you get into the cardio zone, you recognize it easily - you're scant of breath, you're sweating ... Due to this, your body burns a lot of calories and the cardio is becomminig the perfect type of workout for when you want to lose weight. If you do strenght exercises, you can build muscles, but it's possible that you won't even see them, because they are covered with a layer of fat. But what should you do if you really don't want to do that jumping and running?
Forget about the classical workouts. Don't force yourself to something you don't want to do. You wouldn't stick to it for a long time anyway and it could only disgust any exercising, so you would maybe come back to wallowing on the couch.

Fun Cardio Ways
As I said, cardio is very effective and you shouldn't acoid it completely. Maybe you don't even know what counts as cardio and maybe you will find something you'll really enjoy. It's not only cycling, running, swimming or ball games. Frisbee, tennis, jumping rope, dancing, trampoline jumping or hula hooping count as cardio as well ...
Don't forget that you should sweat and breath fast during your cardio workout. If you feel like this when you're vaccuming, painting the walls in your room, running in a shopping mall or daily running late for a bus - congratulations then, that was you cardio workout.

Cute Clothes
Let's be real, if you workout in old pants and tee, it won't motivates you like if you wore some nice sporty clothes. The perfect clothes are those that perfectly fit you and you see every muscle - and also all the fat you wan't to get rid of. I'm not saying that you have to wear expensive clothes (i don't know about you but I would't buy Nike sport bra for 60$), but I recommend you to buy colourful, fun clothes in H&M or also in F&F or Lidl they have really nice pieces :)

Workout Regularly
The biggest mistake I used to do, was exercising irregularly. One day I did an insane workout and the next day I had strained muscles, pain in every part of my body and I couldn't almost stand up. Crap, crap, crap. It's better to workout only ten minutes a day, but EVERY day, then overdo it one day and then few days just lie in your bed and complain about how every move hurts. Ideally you should workout at least half an our, because after twenty minutes the body starts burning fat. Also it's good to have one rest day a week, when you let your body regenerate and relax.

Don't forget that our bodies are capable of almost anything - it's you mind you have to convince ! Working out is mosly about your determination, otivation, discipline and endurance ...

  1. Moc pěkný článek! :) I když nejsem taky velký fanoušek kardia, stejně ho cvičím. Angličáky nesnáším, ale furt je to nejúčinější cvičení. Na kardia můžu jen doporučit blogilates. Účinná cvičení a hlavně strašně zábavná! :D

    1. Díky :) Jojo, nezapíram, že jsou velmi účinné :D ale stejně se jim vyhýbat. Radši cvičím tak, aby mě to bavilo a abych měla z pohybu radost :) Blogilates mám ráda, i když teď radši cvičím sama a workouty si přizpůsobuji podle sebe :)

  2. super článok, ja cvičím doma už dlhšie a snažím sa čo najčastejšie na plaváreň a na bicykel a podobne, doma máme aj rotoped a mini trampolínu :)

    1. Děkuju :) Tak to je super, obzvlášť trampolínu bych doma brala. Uvažuji, ale že bych chodila i na jumping do fitka :)

  3. Veľmi pekný článok! Myslela som, že cez prázdniny budem mať viac času na cvičenie, ale zdá sa mi, že mám ešte menej ako cez školu :D Každopádne, super článok a krásny dizajn :)

    1. Děkuju :)) Taky to tak mám :D ale upřímně, přes všechny prázdninové aktivity.. Nejvíc mi dává zabrat to horko :D nejsem vůbec schopna cvičit

  4. super článok ! :) ja cvičím 6-krát do týždňa už nejakých tých pár rokov a stravujem sa zdravšie a je to fakt omnoho lepšie :) a asi som jedna z mála, ktorú baví cardio :D hlavne beh :)

  5. Bezvadný článek, úplně mě motivoval, abych od zítra začala, v tom vedru to není nic moc, ale člověk se o to rychleji začne potit. :)

    1. Děkuju, to mě moc těší :) Je to děs, to je fakt. Ale jak je člověk tak spocený tak si aspoň pak případ, že pořádně zamakal :D
