Sometimes there's just too much stuff going on and we can't handle it anymore. We're nervous, we're not able to get things done in time, everything fails ... We lose our elan, desire and energy to do anything. In fall when the days are colder and colder, the sky is gray and we wake up in the dark every morning, everything get even worse. No worries, there are few tips on how to calm down, get rid of stress and get a new energy into your everyday life :)

Lavander

Lavander
Aromatherapy is one of the greatest ways to calm your body and your thoughts. What helps me the most is lavander - no matter is I put few drops into an aromalamp or just into a bowl with hot water or if I put it on my wrist when I go somewhere and I want to feel relaxed. Besides lavander you can also try rosemary, orange, mind or bergamot essential oil.

Restorative yoga
Yoga is amazing not only for our physical but also for our mental health. There are many types of yoga and not all of them are suitable for everyone and every situation. If you're tired and upset, you probably don't want to practise demanding poses. Instead of that, try restorative yoga. This type of yoga is slow and relaxing. Most of the poses are done sitting or lying down and they're not physically demanding at all. You also stay in the poses for longer period of time to find where your body feels most comfortable.
There are many videos with restorative yoga on Youtube. You can inspire by them and next time you can make create your own restorative yoga session :)
Pranayama
Pranayama is a part of yoga and it basically means breathing exercises. When you start focusing on your breath, you release the negative emotions and thoughts at least for a while. We see breathing as something automatic and simple. In fact there are many breathing techniques and breathing exercises. Some of them may be even a bit complicated and may feel a bit uncomfortable at first because we're not used to breathe this way.Mandalas
I've loved mandalas since I was a child - no matter if I just color the preprinted mandalas or if I draw my own mandalas. You have to be patient and concentrated while you draw so you won't have free capacity for any negative thoughts and emotions :)
How do you fight against stress? Do you suffer from the fall fatigue too?
