So many people lack self-love. One of the great methods to fight these moments of self-sabotaging and low self confidence, is yoga. In this post, I'd like to show you my little guide to self-love yoga - a tutorial to make a beautiful loving atmosphere inside yourself and outside as well - with help of yoga, meditation, healing crystals, aromatheraphy and music :)
How it actually works (and does it work at all?)
I realized that lately I've been adding blog posts about topics, which may not be suitable for everyone. Working with crystals, meditation, law of attraction or lunar cycle .. these are all things which many people don't really believe in. I'm not here to tell you what is true and what is no, if these things are scientifically proven or no ... In my opinion, if you believe in something, it can work for you. If not, you may not be able to see any results at all. And for me, these "alternative" activities work so I'd love to share them with you too.
There were many times, when I was dreaming about something so much and I truly believed that it will work out ... and these things came true, sometimes in a moment when I didn't expect it at all. From my own experience, I can also say that yoga and meditation always make me feel better in some way. And that music, scents and crystals have some effect on me as well.
So ... does it work? That's your own decision. It will work exactly the way, you want to.
Crystals
When I was a kid, I used to love collecting crystals and any other beautiful stones - I used to buy the crystals on necklaces and bracelets in every souvenir store and I used to love collecting colourful little stones on the beach (actually I still do love doing that). Some minerals have stronger power than others. They are capable of healing our physical body as well as the emotional body, that is often weak and broken as well.

How to use crystals
There are many ways to use the crystals to profit from their healing energy. You can take them with you like amulets, wear them on bracelets or necklaces ... You can also hold them in your hands when meditating or place them on a part of your body that needs to be healed. You can also place them around your yoga mat while practising yoga or create a special crystal grid to help you fulfill your dreams.
Crystals release positive energy and remove the negative energy around us. That's why it's very important to wash them and charge them from time to time. Simply just wash them with running water or place them in a bowl with water for a while. Then charge them by placing the crystals on sunlight or moonlight (some crystals like rose quartz are not suitable for charging on sunlight, because their colour may fade).
For today's yoga session, you may want to use some of these:
Another thing which may help you during this session, is aromatheraphy. You can use candles, mediation incense sticks or an aromalamp with essential oils mix. For our purpose, you can use fragrants like:
Yoga session
When you're ready, put on some comfy clothes and let's meet on the yoga mat :)
The session is designed to relax the body and to support crown, heart and throat chakra.
Seated stretch
We're gonna start in seated position, with legs wide apart. You can put a bolster, pillows or a rolled blanket in front of you, to support yourself in the pose. Breath in, stretch your arms up and with exhale, lie down on the ground. Don't try to go to deep - just let the body sink and relax. You can keep your back rounded in Yin yoga.
Seated Front Bend
Keep your legs together, breath in, stretch up and then breath out and let your body sink down. You can ut pillows or a bolster on your legs and comfortably lie down and relax.

Half butterfly
Bend one leg and keep the other leg straight like in the previous pose. Place your hands or forearms along the legs (if you feel comfortable, you can touch your feet or ankles. If you feel pressure in your knee, you can support it with a pillow or a blanket placed under the knee. Repeat the pose on the other leg.
Eye of a needle
Bend both knees and pull them towards your body. Place your right ankle on left thigh and pull the legs a bit closer to your body. Stay in the pose for few calm deep breathes and them repeat on the other side.
Sleeping Deer
This pose may look a bit difficult at first, but I'm sure you'll love it at the end. For me, it's probably the most comfortable yoga pose at all.
Start in a seating position - left feet face the end of the spine, the righ leg touches the butt. Breath in, strenghten your back, exhale, twist your torso to the left and lie on the floor. Again, you can use a blanket or a bolster to support yourself.
Stay in the position for at least 1-3 minutes and then repeat on the other side.

Savasana
Finally lie on your back, keep your legs slightly away from each other, place your hands along your body with palms facing upwards.
Savasana may not be the most favourite pose of some people. Many people skip this pose at the end of the yoga session, because they feel like lying down for couple of minutes is simply a waste of time. They think about all the tasks they have for the rest of the day ... and they can't really enjoy the beauty of the simple and super effective pose.
But today, try to leave your worries away from the yoga mat. Today's theme is Self Love. So give yourself the permission to relax and unwind. You can stay in this pose for a minute or half an hour .. it's up to you. Just feel your body relaxing, smell the beautiful fragrance and listen to the relaxing music as well as the sounds in the distance.
Music
Music has a great effect on our body and mind. Music can uplift your mood in the worst days and make you cry as well. I personally love listening mantras, nature sounds, movie soundtracks or slow acoustic music while practising yoga. You can also try "solfeggio vibes", special vibrations which are supposed to effect our whole life (for example 639 Hz improves our communication skills and relationships)
