Bombus Raw Bars

Bombus is a czech brand that sells gluten free, sugar free, preservatives & colors free raw bars. Most of them are made with dates + more dried fruit, nuts, coconut or cacao beans. They're low in calories but they provide a lot of vitamins and healthy carbs which give you energy everytime you need it .. And plus they're pretty addictive!

I read a post which said that if you wanna buy healthy food, altough all the ingredients are healthy, there shouldn't be more than five of them. Bombus bars prove that the best meals can be made of just few ingredients. Nowadays there are four types of bars - raw energy bars, protein bars, fruit & chia bars and kids energy bars.


Raw Energy
The "basic" bars are Raw Energy, which are available in these flavors: apple & cinnamon, coconut & cacao, apricot & cashew, maracuja & coconut, cashew & coffee and coconut & cacao. The first bombus bar I've ever had was cashew & cofee and I fell in love with this one after first bite. It has been still my favorite together with coconut & cacao bar. The other flavors are delicious too, but cacao, coffee, nuts and coconut - these are things I could eat in any form and nonstop !

Slim Snack
Slim snack bars contain fruit along with chia, sunflower, flax seeds and buckwheat. You can choose from three flavors - cacao, banana or plum. Some people may not like these because the producers lawished with chia seeds so the bar is very "crunchy". I don't minds, I add chia seeds to almost every meal and the combination with cocoa was perfect.

Raw Protein
Plant-based diet can be high in protein too and so there are also vegan raw bars! Protein Bombus bars contain rice protein and they're available in three flavors - banana, cacao and peanut butter. I prefer the one with peanut butter - it's one of the things that you either completely love or you will never like it at all. I'm the first type of person and I could eat tons of anything with peanut flavor. In banana and chocolate version, the protein powder has more stronger taste, the peanut butter hides the protein a bit more.

TIP
I usually buy protein bars for a snack for when I'm traveling or for the days we have more lessons at school. Lately I've loved adding them to my oatmeal, chia pudding or smoothie bowls. You just cut the bar into squares or you make small ball and you have a special bonus for you breakfast / snack :)
