This year, I was looking forward to the summer holiday more than any other year. Finally I had a chance to say goodbye to school, studying, driving lessons, the same faces I used to see every day ... and also I could finally leave all my stress and worries behind. In this post, you're gonna find my personal tips which help me in the moments when I have too many things to do but at the same time I don't feel like doing anything at all. Sometimes I experience these feelings altough I don't really have work to do, but I just feel emotionally and mentally tired. Except the tips and ideas for relaxing your mind, I'm also adding some of my hand drawn mandalas, which you can print and color on your own :)

Mandalas
Since I was a kid, I've always loves mandalas. I used to search for them on the Internet and then colour them. Nowadays you can find a lot of different anti-stress colouring pages not only on the Internet but also in the stationary shops and some supermarkets as well. I personally feel the greatest relaxation when creating the mandalas on my own. A piece of paper, a pencil, a black liner, compasses, meditative music in the background ... and all my worries melt away.
Goals list
One of the reasons I suffer from these mood swings, is the fact that I'm not very good at time-management. I either put off all of my duties until it's too late or I have days when I don't know what to do at all and I feel very non-productive. That's why I recommend creating your own motivational journal and making lists of short-term and long-term goals. You can write down all of your life goals and dreams which you'd like to reach in few years from now or the little things you'd like to do this summer :)
Adding some colour, stickers, washi tapes and pictures to your journal pages makes the motivational impact even much stronger ! :)
Yoga & meditation
Yoga and meditation help me the most in term of stress and anxiety. I especially love yin yoga and restorative yoga. It's important not to overestimate your abilities so it's better to choose some kind of exercise which is slow and not that physically demanding. Otherwise you would feel even more anxious, disappointed and angry about yourself, that you're not good enough to finish the workou session. So in these states I usually choose slow, calming yoga which helps me to stretch and relax my body. I don't push anywhere, I connect to my breath and just flow and let my body and mind calm down :)

Journaling
Journaling is a therapeutical method that helps people suffering from depression, eating disorders and other types of mental ilness. I've been writting a daily journal since I was a kid. There are days and week when I don't write a line but then there are moments when I feel like I have so many thoughts in my mind, that I just sit down with my journal and write, write, write .. sometimes even about five or ten pages. It helps me to calm my mind, to organize my thoughts, to realize what thing I believe in, what are my priorities and which things are not important in my life at all.
Just take a pen, a piece of paper or a diary and write down anything that comes on your mind. It doesn't have to make sense, try not to think about it too much, just write, let the thoughts flow, do not judge them and analyze them. Just write.
What helps you to get rid of stress and bad moods? :)
