Yesterday we finally bought a waffle maker and I was looking forward to make warm waffles for my today's breakfast so much! ♥ I searched the Internet to find the most delicious and the healthiest waffles .. And at the end I just mixed four simple ingredients which you definitely have at home, and the perfect waffles came alive :) They're super healthy, don't contain fat, sugar, they're suitable for vegans and celiacs - so it's a recipe for literally everybody ! :)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups oat flour (blended oats)
- 3/4 cup plant-based milk
- 1 mashed banana
- teaspoon baking powder
How to:
- *Blend the oats to make the "flour"
- **Add milk, mashed banana and baking powder
- Pour the dough into a waffle maker and bake for about 5 minutes
- I topped my waffles with homemade nicecream, peanut-coconut butter, grated chocolate, almond slices and maple syrup
*You can experiment with the flour and try to replace a part of the oat flour with spelt, almond, coconut or for example hemp flour :)
** You can also add some sweetener if you want to (honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar ..), few drops of vanilla, chia seeds or cocoa powder
